Motivated by the example of Jesus Christ, we are dedicated to providing excellent surgical care, with the goal of demonstrating God's compassionate love for all people and the hope that each person will come to know His son Jesus as a personal savior.

About Us
Twenty-five years ago, Bob Eubanks and Paul Fellers, orthopaedic surgeons from Fairhope, Alabama began traveling to underdeveloped countries to provide surgical interventions. Because of the need they encountered, they began making yearly trips overseas.
In 1999 Bayside Medical Missions, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization was formed. Many countries were served. In the year 2000 BMM committed to long term work in Ecuador providing volunteer opportunities for health care professionals to offer medical care to those who would otherwise not be able to receive it. Working together through strong relationships with local physicians and professionals quality ongoing care is achieved.
Surgeries are provided at La Vida Surgery Center in Portoviejo, Ecuador which is strategically located geographically. This two-operating room, state-of-the-art center was made possible through collaboration between Bayside Medical Missions, Samaritan’'s Purse and the Christian and Missionary Alliance, a solidly grounded church on whose campus the Center resides.
We seek to serve with love and compassion those whom God places in our reach. To provide the best care possible, enhancing the lives of the people we serve. While the services of the volunteer doctors are provided free of charge, there are always expenses associated with the surgeries for which we seek sponsorships through donations.
